I also appreciated the quiet reading areas and open spaces, which made it easy to slow down and take everything in at my own pace.\n\nWhether you're interested in contemporary art, architecture, photography, or design, SALT Beyo\u011flu is definitely worth visiting. Originally the ground floor functioned as a retail space while the upper floors were used as residences. Over the years, the building was repurposed for different functions. Since 2011 it has been occupied by Salt Beyo\u011flu. The ground, second and third floors are used for exhibitions. The Cinema\/theater  hosts talks, screenings, workshops, and performances. The Kitchen on the mezzanine and the Winter Garden on the fourth floor are reserved for programs focusing on food and ecology. There is also a bookstore here. I went here during an abstract art exhibition which I didn\u2019t comprehend, but I appreciate the effort that was taken into it.","rating":4,"time_description":"9 months ago"}]},"attached":false}
