Long wait\/queue to enter the grounds then another long queue\/wait to get into the house. Pretty gardens. Great to see the lily pond. More time needed in the house to look at all the artwork. Glad I went out the way to visit though. Walking through the house and its beautifully preserved rooms offers a fascinating glimpse into the life of one of the founders of Impressionism. The colorful dining room, Monet\u2019s studio, and his personal collection of Japanese prints are especially interesting.\n\nThe real highlight, however, is the magnificent garden. Strolling among the flowers, the famous Japanese bridge, and the water lily pond feels like stepping directly into one of Monet\u2019s paintings. It\u2019s easy to see where he found inspiration for many of his masterpieces.
