You can tell employee morale is low and many of the staff have already checked out mentally. That said, guests are still paying premium prices and deserve quality service.

The only friendly and professional employee I encountered was the woman who checked me in and out. Everyone else was disappointing. The valet staff was rude and seemed more focused on tips than service. Even after tipping $20 each time, I still had to wait around 20 minutes for my car.

The bell staff was slow and unhelpful. After spending nearly $5,000 on a four-night stay, I expected better service. Instead, I had to find my own luggage cart and make multiple trips to bring my luggage downstairs.

Room service arrived with missing items, the breakfast lacked flavor, and the food from The Living Room left both my wife and me sick to our stomachs for two days.

If you're going to provide poor food and subpar service, your prices should reflect that. If you're going to continue charging luxury hotel rates until you close, then you still have an obligation to deliver the level of service your guests are paying for.
I stayed at the W South Beach and had an amazing experience! The location is hard to beat—you have direct access to the beach while still being just steps from great restaurants, shopping, and everything South Beach has to offer.

The hotel has a fun, luxurious atmosphere without feeling overly formal. My room was spacious, comfortable, and the perfect place to relax after a day in the sun. I also loved spending time by the pool and taking in the beautiful ocean views—it really captures that iconic Miami vibe.

The staff was friendly and welcoming, the property was well maintained, and the entire stay felt effortless from check-in to check-out.

If you’re looking for a stylish beachfront hotel in Miami, I would absolutely recommend the W South Beach. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily book here again on my next trip!
