The rooms are not only generous in size, they are gorgeous, especially the bathrooms.  Wow.  The layout is logical and atypical, i.e., not boring.  I loved the restaurant on the top floor and the library on the same floor was super enticing.  The gym is small but absolutely perfect for me.  I cannot believe it has taken me so long to find a 'go-to' hotel in HK.  There are many other five-star hotels but I now think this is the most spectacular of them all.  (28 years ago, I lived in a nice service apartment for a couple of years, which became the Upper House Hotel... The minimalist aesthetic is warm & spacious rooms, natural wood materials, lighting, and windows that frame the harbour and skyline views. Waking up every morning to that view never got old.\n\nThe room itself felt like a private sanctuary in the middle of the city, incredibly spacious by Hong Kong standards, with a luxurious bathroom, deep soaking tub, and thoughtful details everywhere. Every element felt curated, not excessive.\n\nWhat truly sets The Upper House apart is the service. Attentive yet never intrusive, warm yet impeccably professional. The team anticipates your needs before you even ask, making the entire stay seamless and effortless.\n\nSeven days passed too quickly.
