The hotel was located in a good area, close to many cafes and other places. It was my first time in Paris, so it was important that I stayed in a hotel in a safe area as a solo female traveller. It's very boutique, with a Parisian vibe, and the front desk people were very kind. They even gave me a complimentary upgrade. The room I had was on the 5th floor, and it was SO SPACIOUS! Considering most of the hotels, I read that in Paris, rooms are tiny. It had a couch, tv, and the bathroom was great too, with lovely shampoo. The view was of the building, so nothing to look at, but I didn't care to have an Eiffel Tower view, I opened the windows on a rainy morning and it was so calming. I didn't realize it had a complimentary breakfast in the morning, and when I went, the food was so good, bread & pastries to die for. I didn't have a chance to go to the speakeasy as it was open one day when I was there (keep in mind its closed Sun & Mon) or eat dinner\/room service. Overall, had such a lovely stay. It was so quiet (even though reviews said it wasn't, since it's near the subway), and it was perfect for me. Our room was on the 5th floor with a balcony and a view of the city; we even saw a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower! The room was cozy and stylishly decorated. The breakfasts were simply delicious, and the waiters were welcoming and pleasant. I'll definitely be back. The area is quiet and clean, with plenty of amenities nearby: cafes, restaurants, shops... and it's a pleasure to explore on foot.","rating":5,"time_description":"4 months ago"}]},"attached":false}
