Among the 5 star hotels in the area (I have stayed at The Mark and The Carlyle), The Surrey is my favorite. The rooms are beautiful and the bathrooms luxurious. Everything is new and modern, and very tastefully designed. My room was very clean. The restaurant is another gem, with delicious breakfast (I recommend the scrambled egg and avocado toast) and lunch\/dinner options.
