As a guest, it was very uncomfortable to witness the way the general manager treats some employees. The behavior comes across as denigrating and highly unprofessional. On more than one occasion it was obvious how staff were spoken to in a disrespectful way or corrected in front of others.\n\nIt is also very clear that there is favoritism toward certain employees while others are treated completely differently. That kind of unequal treatment creates a tense environment that guests can easily notice, and it ultimately affects the level of service being provided.\n\nI have visited this hotel in the past and the difference is significant. Years ago the management felt much more professional and respectful. Now the atmosphere feels tense and unhealthy. I truly believe upper management or the owners should take a serious look at what is going on, because this kind of leadership is damaging both the staff and the reputation of the hotel.
