From the moment you reach the check in desk you feel like you're in another world....and you are. A highly curated world for health, relaxation, fitness, and joy. The restaurants, gym, and lobby are all 5*. Rooms are designed for silence, relaxation, focus and sleep. Blackout curtains, delicious coffee and teas, Grown Alchemist bath products, and natural fiber mattresses. You will not regret staying here. Each staff member seemed to be better and more helpful than the next.","author":"Jim","rating":5,"time_description":"2 months ago"},{"text":"This is a fantastic hotel for adults or business travelers, but I would strongly advise families with young children to consider other options.\n\nWe recently stayed at the Equinox Hotel in New York and overall the experience was excellent. The hotel is beautiful, extremely clean, and the staff was consistently attentive and professional. The rooms are modern, comfortable, and the overall quality of the property is truly high-end.\n\nHowever, I want to leave an important note for families traveling with children: this hotel is not kid-friendly at all and this was not clearly communicated at the time of booking.\n\nThere is no kids\u2019 menu available in the restaurants, and more importantly, children are not allowed in certain facilities, including the pool area. We were looking forward to enjoying the pool with our 6-year-old son or at least taking a quick photo together, as the space has a beautiful garden and an amazing view of Manhattan.
