We so enjoyed our stay at Shutters on the Beach. It is top notch. All of the staff is courteous and friendly. They will remember who you are and they take very good care of you. The rooms are beautiful, very clean and spacious. A big thank you to Jonathan the concierge who was full of knowledge and so very helpful. Mark the bellman was also very helpful. If you are looking for somewhere to go in the Santa Monica area be sure to visit Shutters on the Beach and their restaurants and bars. I finished a bike ride along Route 66 so it was great to walk 1\/2mile to Shutters. There are plenty of food options in the area but the hotel restaurant serves light appetizers and drinks in the lobby (in addition to regular service). The front desk staff was so sweet. I needed to shower after I finished my ride but my husband hadn't arrived yet so they let me use the spa showers. The pool is heated which was great for the kids. It was exceptional to be so close to the beach, we were able to wander and play in the morning before any one else was there. Rooms had all the necessities and were comfortable and quiet. I'd definitely stay there anytime I'm in the area!","rating":5,"time_description":"8 months ago"}]},"attached":false}
