The price for the room was $$$$$$$.  With this in mind, we were hoping for a nice, quiet room with a view of the ocean.\n\nNO.  Did not happen.\n\nYOU NEED TO KNOW that your room may be right next to the lobby lounge outdoor deck and there is music and loud talking while they are open.   There are also musicians and others that are right outside of your window (technically on the public beach) that are singing, playing the trumpet, keyboards and VERY LOUD all the time.\n\nThe room also has a public walkway right under the window, so you are going to hear the public (at least when we were there very loudly) and it is NOT quiet...it's very loud.\n\nMY SUGGESTION TO SHUTTERS:  Invest in double\/triple pane windows (something similar to what Bellagio has in Las Vegas) so you can't hear all of this noise.\n\nWe also had our next door neighbors that decided to throw a VERY LOUD PARTY from 2 - 3 am (yes, I called security and they quieted down after a while).   I was actually shocked they didn't get kicked out because this kind of behavior should not be tolerated.\n\nThe good news is that the Guest Relations Manager (Beatrice) did help out finding a comparable room right next door to their sister property (Casa Del Mar)...so we moved rooms the next day.\n\nI feel like Shutters is a good place - but they really need to invest in thicker pane windows knowing that the public is going to interfere with the quiet that you are paying for.\n\nIt's all a matter of what you are looking for - and what to know before.","rating":3,"time_description":"2 months ago"},{"author":"PsBoston7","text":"Went in this past Sunday.\n\nWhat can I say my friend (who is also in the food industry) was visiting from Boston with her BF, ordered the French Toast Brioche and she never paused for a moment until that plate was CLEAN!!! I enjoyed my Eggs Benedict as well, the Hollandaise was on point and the Steak and Eggs were delicious as well. My Iced Tea was a nice strong brew.\n\nWe sat at the bar where we were delighted by their Bar staff and most notably, bartender Lisa. She took care of us from the moment we sat down until we departed. I will definitely return.\n\nRespectfully Reviewed","rating":5,"time_description":"3 months ago"}]},"attached":false}
