Despite the hotel not being the newest anymore, everything felt comfortable and carefully looked after. The showers though need some attention.\nThe check-in experience, however, was rather disappointing. The reception staff seemed somewhat non-attentive and lacked the warmth one would normally expect from a 4-star hotel.\nBreakfast today is not quite what it was 15 years ago \u2014 definitely a reflection of the global economic downturn. The selection is more modest than it used to be, yet still very tasty, fresh, and elegantly presented. What was genuinely lovely to see is that Jean is still working in the restaurant after all these years, which says a great deal about the hotel as an employer. Warm regards to you Jean! We love your class!\nThe SPA area is perfectly decent and enjoyable despite its age, offering a relaxing atmosphere after a busy day.\nOne thing worth mentioning is the very narrow entrance to the garage, which may be challenging for larger cars.\nDespite a few minor shortcomings, this remains a hotel we enjoy returning to and would gladly recommend.","rating":5,"time_description":"2 weeks ago"},{"author":"Hans Lind","text":"Stayed for one night - had booked an individual room but saw on the app I had got an upgrade to a standard room - but upon checking in I was informed the room was changed back to an individual room as the hotel was fully booked.\nA bit strange to promise an upgrade to a Radisson Rewards VIP member - and then change it.\nBut the problem with room 250 was the horrible smell of sewage. No one can miss that upon entering the room. So strange that it still was given to a customer without cleaning the drain.\nI was promised a change of room within 45 minutes - but happily that was done already within 5 minutes.\nMoved to a room that the app described as a standard room - see photo. But in fact it was a small individual room with a bed and 35 cms space round the bed - see photo.\nBut hey - this was only for one night so I can cope with it.\nAnd then the restaurant - excellent breakfast. But issues during the dinner - good food but strange service where the younger waiter claimed he had served me a draft beer - which he hadn\u2019t. He was also not aware of VIP members getting 15% discount on food thinking instead it was 10%\u2026..\nSo please train the staff \u2026..\nI hope I get better service with next booking in January -and don\u2019t end up in a room with terrible sewage smell again\n*****\nUppdatering - returned for 3 night in January- it became 4 nights due to flight cancellation.
