The staff is generally polite, and access to the Equinox gym is a nice bonus.\n\nThat said, for a 5-star hotel, several things seriously downgraded my experience.\n\nFirst, upon check-in, there were visible stains on the bedsheets. This is simply unacceptable for a hotel of this level. Cleanliness should not be negotiable at this price point.\n\nSecond, and even more disappointing, was the checkout experience today, January 27, around 12:00 PM. There were multiple staff members at the front desk, yet no assistance with luggage was offered at all. I was told to bring the bags downstairs myself directly, no one stepped in to help, no bell service, nothing.\n\nFor context: when we checked in, my husband carried the bags. When checking out, I ended up carrying both my own luggage and my husband\u2019s luggage. For a 5-star hotel, this is honestly shocking. The shower was also excellent, and I appreciated the great selection of supplements available to purchase.\n\nThe gym itself is nice - clean, well equipped, and premium feeling. However, I was very disappointed with the outdoor saunas, as they didn\u2019t get warm at all during my visit. I rely on sauna use as an important part of my post workout recovery, so this was a significant letdown.\n\nOverall, it\u2019s a beautiful, high-end facility, and I hope the sauna issue can be addressed to match the otherwise great experience!","rating":4,"time_description":"3 months ago"}]},"attached":false}
