But the roof top is permanently closed. Venice is smaller than it looks and very walkable, we only had to walk 5min and were at the accademia bridge to go into San Marco (pictured is the view from the accademia bridge). Plus because it is in the dorsoduoro district it is a way better value for the room. The bathroom was AMAZING and all marble. The room was beautiful as well. The hotel was an old palazzo so there is art and history all around you (pictured).\n\nThe terrace had a nice view of the water, breakfast was super easy (we just walked out to the terrace and ordered. when we checked in they told us what breakfast was included with our reservation).\n\nThe staff were great! Easy to navigate the hotel and city with English.
