We spent the entire time at the Palazzo Stern.   It was a great experience.  The staff was very friendly and helpful.   The hotel was easy to reach and right on the Grand Canal.  It was nice not to have to  carry our luggage around the small streets of Venice.   Very accessible to all the sites, especially with one of  the Vaporetto stops right next to the hotel.   Very close to local restaurants and cicchetti bars. Next time we come to Venice,  we will be returning to the Palazzo Stern.","rating":5,"time_description":"6 months ago"},{"author":"Mark P","text":"We stayed here instead of San Marco district and were so happy. Venice is smaller than it looks and very walkable, we only had to walk 5min and were at the accademia bridge to go into San Marco (pictured is the view from the accademia bridge). Plus because it is in the dorsoduoro district it is a way better value for the room. The bathroom was AMAZING and all marble. The room was beautiful as well. The hotel was an old palazzo so there is art and history all around you (pictured).\n\nThe terrace had a nice view of the water, breakfast was super easy (we just walked out to the terrace and ordered. when we checked in they told us what breakfast was included with our reservation).\n\nThe staff were great! Easy to navigate the hotel and city with English. Our tour guides picked us up from the hotel lobby and walked us in to the rest of venice without issue.","rating":5,"time_description":"8 months ago"}]},"attached":false}
