The bathrooms are of an equally good size, and well designed with excellent shower pressure and Le Labo products. Excellent soundproofing.\n\nThe Housekeeping services each day were of the highest I have experienced in many years at a hotel - immaculate attention to detail.\n\nThe breakfast is excellent, and we found the entire staff at Annette and in the Oficine speakeasy bar stellar and polite throughout our stay.\n\nThe hotel gym is a work of art in itself, and the Refresh Room was ideal for our needs.  The hotel is in an excellent location with the Bac metro stop and a large bank of V\u00e9lib bikes immediately outside.\n\nWe love this particular area for dining and shopping, and we know it very well, so we did not need any concierge support.  The only area of improvement was on our overall welcome and check-in experience - none of our group felt welcomed on arrival, and the staff member conducting our check-in was not warm and she did not spend any time discussing the hotel, its amenities, or if we needed any help or support - something I found odd.  When my in-laws returned to the Front Desk later that same day with simple questions, the same staff member was not particularly helpful.  We all speak fluent French, so this was not a language barrier, and otherwise let the side down compared to the other great team members we met throughout the stay.\n\nWe won't hesitate to return to the hotel in the future, and have already recommended it to several friends and colleagues.","rating":5,"time_description":"3 months ago"},{"author":"Jenna Tregenza","text":"We absolutely loved our stay here! On day 5, we didn\u2019t want to leave. Incredible location and charming staff. The breakfast (included!) was delicious and a wonderful start to the day - fresh juices, pastries, eggs & coffee. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the robes. We walked to so many amazing cafes in the area and to the Louvre too.\n\nThe bath amenities were wonderful however the large refillable bottles should be secured so that guests cannot open or contaminate them ;)\n\nNo room-to-room sounds noted but lots of sirens in the area at all hours. Bring your earplugs.\n\nElevator access was quick and reliable. 4th floor stay was perfect. I loved the design - very warm and welcoming.","rating":5,"time_description":"2 months ago"}]},"attached":false}
