Our room was spacious - with a separate bedroom and living room - which was the key to sanity over a longer stay. The bathroom was palatial by NYC standards - with an automatic fan so no one ever steamed or smelled up the room. Staff was polite and attentive, but happy to leave us alone if preferred. The location is fantastic for a family vacation, with so many family-friendly restaurants and Central Park so close by. Catching a cab down Broadway for other adventures is a breeze, too. We really could not have chosen a better spot. I took one star off the service review only because their Jazz lounge is so busy at night, there is no way to easily order food from the kitchen up to your room! I\u2019m sure it\u2019s possible, and I should have asked the front desk, but the lounge hostess was not inclined to help. It\u2019s a great location. The staff were super welcoming and helpful. Gave us free water the entire stay, which was a blessing given how hot it was! The snacks and coffee in the room were also so nice, since we were both starving after a long travel day. The room was perfectly clean and the bed was very comfy. My only wish was that there were more shower towels provided in the room, but it\u2019s possible we just couldn\u2019t find them! It also felt super safe, where a key had to be used to get up the elevator, which was appreciated. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and hope to make this our regular spot when we come to NY.","rating":5,"time_description":"2 months ago"}]},"attached":false}
