The staff were extremely friendly and pleasant, the bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, the coffee in the lobby was delicious, and the location is hard to beat. That's about it, though. We booked the most expensive room in the place, which promised \"dazzling views\" of an \"enclosed private garden oasis,\" by which they mean a construction site. The bathroom had paint peeling off the ceiling and crumbling tiles and grout. The advertised \"plush bathrobes\" were missing, as was the shower soap. I've stayed in nicer hotels for a quarter the price. None of them came with a broken typewriter in the room, though, so if that's worth $1200 a night to you, then go for it.","rating":3,"time_description":"2 weeks ago"},{"author":"Robert Sancroft-Baker","text":"Truly, nothing could have prepared me for the warmest of welcomes from Elvis and the team. I was immediately armed with a chic water bottle, an especially good coffee and whisked up to my room. The space was generous, as in cavernous, and faced a garden. You couldn\u2019t make up the proportions, let alone two walk in wardrobes. The robes were so fluffy and heavy they couldn\u2019t fit in suitcase- clever on the hotels part and divine for me. The service was exceptional and the vibe cool- without trying. Bikes are available for free. The bar outside is full of sophisticated people enjoying themselves.
