It was my first time experiencing a Michelin star restaurant, and I was so impressed by the detail put into every element of the evening. The service was amazing, and I particularly enjoyed one moment when my boyfriend left to use the bathroom, and a server came over to twist his cloth napkin into a cool shape to await him on his return :) the food was all so thoughtfully created, and I loved that we were informed about the history behind each dish. The setting was also gorgeous, and we were able to enjoy a view of the blue mosque and Hagia Sophia at sunset. One fun final surprise was that we were given a small chocolate hazelnut cake with a candle to blow out for our anniversary! From location to how the courses look to even the dishes the food is served on, each is stunning. That said when it comes to food and service there was room for improvement. Starting with service it felt lacking for a Michelin star restaurant, crumbs on table through multiple courses, no ask for additional drinks, etc. For food as mentioned presentation was incredible but flavor missed on a few dishes, not all though. The fish courses were excellent and well worth the price. Glad we went but probably would not revisit.","rating":4,"time_description":"3 months ago"}]},"attached":false}
