Melon had been on my NYC bucket list for a long time, and I was finally able to visit it. I went with my daughter on a Monday for lunch, and we were lucky enough to get a table for the two of us without much trouble.\n\nTheir famous burger was perfectly grilled and absolutely lived up to the hype. The fries were the perfect companion and completed the meal perfectly. The place itself has an amazing classic NYC atmosphere, and the staff was very attentive throughout our visit.\n\nOne important thing to know: it\u2019s cash only, so make sure to bring cash before you go.\n\nThis place will always hold a special place in my heart because I got to experience it with my daughter during one of our first dad-daughter dates. I only drink good ipa and they only had Laganitas brewed by anheiser bush. Garbage ipa like a Budweiser!  Burgers are legendary with good round fries. Prices are fantastic especially forvthe burgers on the upper east side like $16 with bacon and cheese. Waitress very attentive and kind. I used to live 3 blocks away in the 80s and 90s. The charm of the place still remains. They just need a better beer selection should support a local brewery and have a NY brewing company ipa!
