A local recommended it to us, so we ended up visiting spontaneously, and trust me it was the best decision we made! The staff working there were so lovely, their playful banter and genuine energy really made the whole evening. The architecture is stunning, food is great (and reasonably priced) and the cocktails were also very nice. I got to see in my birthday at this restaurant and all the staff made me feel extra special, they even recommended a great jazz bar to visit after. With it's stylistic front and rustic decor, Le Louis Phillipe drew us off the street to have a bite and we were NOT disappointed.\n\nFrom the flash of a tablecloth to our servers with a smile, everything felt like it was from a movie. We were treated like the only customers in the place and were blown away by the caliber of food.\n\nThe eggs and mayonnaise were creamy and delightful. The onion soup was hearty with rich broth and a cheesy crouton top. And the Gnocchi with creme tomato and basil sauce was to die for. Perfect portions to eat solo or share. I wish I had more time in Paris to visit again. As an American, I felt treated kindly and would highly recommend to anyone.","rating":5,"time_description":"2 months ago"}]},"attached":false}
