Compared with other restaurants I\u2019ve tried at a similar price point and level, the Restaurant Week menu did not feel particularly thoughtful or well executed. To make matters worse, I found a strand of hair in the curry chicken, which obviously made the experience even less enjoyable.\n\nThe service also fell short of what I would normally expect from a French restaurant at this level. Simple things like refilling water and clearing or resetting the table were not handled very promptly, at least from my experience that evening. These are small details, but they do make a difference when a restaurant positions itself at this level.\n\nThat said, the atmosphere and overall vibe of the restaurant are great, and that was probably the strongest part of the evening.\n\nOne other thing that made me uncomfortable was the seating arrangement. I noticed that guests of certain ethnic backgrounds, including myself, seemed more likely to be seated in less desirable areas, such as corners or tables along the main walkway, unless they specifically requested otherwise. I can only speak from my own experience and observation, but the pattern was noticeable enough to make me feel uncomfortable and somewhat differently treated.\n\nOverall, the space is beautiful, but based on the food quality, service, execution, and my overall experience, I did not feel that the Restaurant Week menu reflected the level or hospitality I expected from this restaurant.","author":"Jade (Jade)","rating":3,"time_description":"a month ago"},{"text":"Ordered the Lily of the Valley option for high tea & Lily of the Valley drink (cucumber vodka drink-super refreshing).
